Informal meetings are held each week in the West Building at our magic club station around the corner from InfoCentral (W114). Generally, we meet Mondays through Thursdays between 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the station. Contact club sponsor Dr. Geoffrey Grimes at gagrimes@dallascollege.edu for more information about current club opportunities and activities.
The Mark Wilson Complete Course in Magic is available through many online sellers and often found in new and used bookstores. We also have copies on 3-day reserve for checking out in the "Learning Commons" (library).

The MVC Magic Club honors the world-renowned magicians Mark Wilson and Nani Darnell. A student of Sunset High School and SMU, Mark grew up in Oak Cliff/Dallas, Texas. and began his career at MagicLand Magic Store in downtown Dallas.
Membership and participation is open to students in good academic and personal standing in Dallas College. While club meetings are held physically at the Mountain View Campus, the club is open to all Dallas College students who enjoy the art of magical performance, those who would like to learn more about it, and to those who aspire to performing for audiences. As needed, the club can also provide remote meetings through live streaming.
Through our club activities we support the mission of Dallas College and engage the whole college community in teaching and learning.
We appreciate our diverse community and the gifts of our various cultures. Our club's performances are open to all Dallas College personnel, staff, and students without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, or political affiliation.
The magic club recognizes and honors the achievements of Mark Wilson and his wife Nani Darnell, performing artists who grew up in our community and went on to achieve world-wide prominence in the art of magical entertainment.
Through the study of the techniques and methods of magic routines, we develop performance skills that will enable us to entertain our friends, families, and colleagues.
Each year, members of our magic club stage magical events open free of charge to our local community.
Our members learn how to work with leaders of other clubs and college communities to enrich the services of Student Life.
